Getting Started

Get Aelion Cloud up and running in just a few steps.

Architecture

Aelion Cloud uses a distributed architecture: one central server coordinates multiple daemon nodes. Nodes auto-detect their hardware, sync templates on demand, and stream console output in real-time via Socket.IO.

Required
Aelion Cloud Server

Central backend with REST API, WebSocket server, SQLite database, and a modern web UI. Handles authentication, RBAC permissions, template storage, and real-time daemon coordination.

Per Node
Aelion Daemon

Lightweight agent with RSA mutual authentication, automatic template syncing, hardware detection, real-time console streaming, and crash recovery. Manages unlimited Minecraft servers per node.

Quick Start

1

Check requirements

Verify your system meets the minimum specs (1 GB RAM, 1 CPU core for the backend).

View Requirements
2

Download the binaries

Get the server and daemon binaries for your platform (Linux, Windows, or Docker).

Go to Downloads
3

Install the server

Run the binary or Docker container. The setup wizard creates your admin account.

Installation Guide
4

Register a daemon node

Install the daemon on your game server, then register it via the web UI.

Configuration
5

Create your first server

Pick a template (Paper, Velocity, etc.) and deploy a Minecraft server in seconds.

What's Next?

After your first server is running:

Create Templates with JARs, plugins, and configs that auto-sync to all nodes
Add more nodes—each daemon auto-detects hardware and reports capacity
Set up roles with granular permissions (Admin, Developer, Operator, Viewer)
White-label the panel with your logo, colors, and site name
